What You’ll Learn

The primary goal of our MA program is to prepare you for entry-level employment as a Medical Assistant. Here, you will receive training in several areas of healthcare, including medical terminology, clinical procedures, and basic anatomy.

The Concord Campus

Our campus is located in the Metroplex Office Centre at 1401 Willow Pass Road. This location spans two floors and covers more than 24,000 square feet of space. Laboratories designated for the MA program are fully equipped to simulate an actual clinical setting. The lab equipment includes many of the latest medical technologies, including a microhematocrit centrifuge, blood and urine centrifuge, pulse oximeter, electrocardiogram machine, glucose meters, sphygmomanometers (B/P) cuffs, and an autoclave machine.

Our Concord campus maintains several student facilities, such as a student lounge, a café, and multiple learning resource stations. Our financial aid and careers services teams are also available to help students manage their tuition payments and find great job opportunities after graduation.

Class Caps & Flexible Schedule

At Concord, our MA program features class sizes capped at 40 students. This ensures that each student’s voice is heard. Our campus is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm. Depending on the program, you can typically elect to take morning, midday, or evening classes.

These exams include the NCCT exam for the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) credential, the American Medical Technologists (AMT) to gain the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential, the California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants (CCBMA) to gain (CCMA-AC) credential and the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to gain (CCMA) credential.
